8. MLCUs

In Karnataka, Aastrika Foundation has set up MLCUs in five high caseload government facilities and we have had around 2500 births facilitated by midwives as of June 2025.

The five facilities are as follows: - Vanivilas Hospital, Bangalore

- Cheluvamba Hospital, Mysore

- Seth Mohandas Tulasidas Mother and Child Hospital, Mysore

- Hassan Institute of Medical Sciences, Hassan

- Belagavi Institute of Medical Sciences, Belagavi
